Welcome
to the Fort Monroe Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) website. The purpose
of the RAB is to promote community awareness and obtain constructive community
review and comment on environmental restoration actions that will accelerate
the overall cleanup and subsequent community reuse of Fort Monroe.
      RAB membership
includes citizen volunteers from the local Hampton Roads community, representatives
from the U.S. Army, the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ), National Park Service (NPS),
City of Hampton, and the Fort Monroe Authority (FMA).
      RAB meetings
are held semi-annually in May and November. Special meetings may be held at the discretion
of the RAB Co-Chairs. Meeting notices including the location and time will be placed in the The Daily Press, as well as on this
        website.

All meetings are open to the public.

The next RAB meeting, planned as an Open House, has been postponed due to the ongoing Government shutdown.
Once it is rescheduled, this web page will be updated.
